Hospice

We had a great time on the Nightriders' Ride for Hospice.  The weather was great, the trails were beautiful and we had a great turnout.  Thirty one sleds participated in this year's ride.

Thanks to all that help raise funds during this event.  This year we raised $7,623 for Hospice of the Red River.  That is great.  This brings our total to $41,956 for the past six years of this great event.  Many thanks to everyone that contributed.

Snodeo

The 40th annual celebration of the Nightriders Snodeo was a great one.  We had a record turnout of racers.  Saturday was a bit tough with the rain that we experienced.  Standing water on the ice was a real problem on Sunday.  But with the hard work of all the track officials the race was a great success.  The results are posted on the Snodeo page.

Snodeo workers are invited to the Worker's Party on Saturday, April 17 at Pinehurst Resort.  Social will begin at 6 pm with dinner served at 7 pm.

Trails Closed

We sure got lucky with the weather for the Snodeo.  If it was scheduled one week later, we would have had to cancel it.  The week after the Snodeo brought us a season ending rain.  By the next weekend, most of the snow was gone and our great trail season came to an end.  I hope everyone got many opportunities this year to enjoy our trails.  It was one of the best years for trail riding in the past decade.
